Teep comes from a family with inherited DNA-built-in healing abilities, no person remembers these days for how long exactly the story goes and when it started. His grand-father (Mother’s line) was a gua-sha therapist, practiced Earthing as a basis of his different healing techniques and his own outstanding well-being, he never wore any shoes in his life for this reason. He used Vibration massage technique as a massage “ambulance”, showing and training people on how anyone could help to family members in a fast and effective manner to stop cramps or calm down pain of different origin.

Teep has followed the footsteps of his older brother and became novice Buddhist monk in the Forest Theravada TraditionHe spent over 20 year in forest monasteries of Northern and North-Eastern Thailand, where he had the greatest opportunity to learn and practice massage and herbal healing as a part of his Metta-Loving Kindness, without expecting any reward or having time limit – monks do their treatment until the desired result is reached or to the best of their abilities.

During these monk hood years Teep has spent 7 years on pilgrimage (“tudong” in Thai), as forest tradition prescribes for every monk. Monk takes the minimum of his belongings, special umbrella that acts as his “home” in the forest and can be attached to any tree branch, and his bowl for alms round (early morning barefoot walk for donations on food and water from nearest villages). Teep says that along the way with another monk who became novice together with him they kept leaving belongings that started to seem unnecessary and not-essential, they even clearly remember after almost 20 years as they left an expensive kettle presented by their Teacher and exchanged it for a simple one that weighed less.

Tudong is performed as solitary journey or in a small company of other monks, remote, solitary areas are chosen, often some places that have “bad fame” with local habitants, for example, areas were spirits are believed to dwell causing problems to people or animals, where some mysterious deaths took place, unknown cadavers where discovered, or a few people disappeared. In such places monks can stay un-bothered, practice long meditations, work on their fears, connect to spirits that didn’t attain peace and practice Loving-Kindness for them, stick to their chosen ascetic vows, as the vow of silence  and others to make their spirit stronger, Teep took the vow of silence and not sleeping for 3 months.

One of the challenges his Teacher Lompu Thon in Loei Province presented to Teep, when he  was monk for about 2 years and was providing massage and herbal therapy to Teacher Lompu Thon,  was to perform dead bodies cremation combined with prolonged vipassana meditation, to realize the impermanence of all material, of human flesh, to overcome his fears of death. Teep performed this task for 2 years, observing every burning cadaver, layers of skin, tendons, ligaments and bones structure – all melting in front of his eyes, becoming ash, returning to earth. Perhaps, due to these 2 years extreme experience Teep has a special “connection” to spirits, he says that while performing meditation, if a spirit approaches him, he can tell by the “smell”, for how long the body has been dead. He had many encounters with spirits while on pilgrimage, his level of concentration, meditation skills, his special link to spirits had created for him various opportunities to practice METTA towards spirits of people who passed away, animals, supporting their unknown ways of existence, helping them to attain peace, to transform. As to practical aspects of healing, Teep says that cremation experience was his personal priceless atlas of human anatomy, he was able to see the structures of the entire locomotor tissues, fascia tissues formation,  joints, etc. Another “live” anatomy training he had, while on pilgrimage, was compiling the bones of dead monks that sometimes he found in caves where he stayed, back into full “bodies”, a stunning way of human bone puzzles.

The year 2012 Teep left the Path of Monk hood, changing into the different way of creating his own family. Currently he lives in Phuket, Thailand, with his family, and devotes time to sharing his knowledge and giving healing sessions.
